Portage County closing

Trails took a beating yesterday with the high traffic, sun and warmth. Lots of dirt showing and what isn’t dirt is hard ice. It’s hard on the sleds and it can damage landowner property. So please stay off the trails until we get more snow!
Officially Portage closes at Midnight tonight and I haven’t heard an official word from Wood yet. But like I said please respect landowners and stay off trails.
