Another very successful radar run is in the books. The Kellner Knights thanks all of the racers, spectators and volunteers that made this our best race yet. Not only did we see more racers do more runs this year, they also came from near and far. The farthest rider came all the way from Iowa! All totaled we raised $2300! That money goes straight into our trail fund. THANK YOU!
John Caves was crowned our new King of the River with a 1st run speed of 138.1mph in 660′. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera ready for that one but I did for the next two. I was told John runs a 2004 Yamaha RX-Warrior stock full body Yamaha chassis with block mods, stage 2 turbo kit, and other secrets. I hope he comes back to defend the crown next year.
John was the fastest but he had plenty of competition. We had 28 runs over 100mph this year. Doing 100 on a 660′ ice tack is really haulin’! Speeds from all the runs can be downloaded here (2015 Radar Run Results).

Custom scoring system
A new improvement this year was a TV scoreboard. As the race speeds were entered the TV displayed the speed as well as the top 3 in each class. It worked great. David Moon and Dan Bemowski did a great job with the scoring system.
