Come out and ride 6pm this Thursday at the trail head across from The Store in Kellner! Great way to meet other club members and have some fun. We had 6 riders in January despite sub-zero weather. I hope to see more of you this month!
Groomers did an excellent job last week. They got out quickly after the early week snowstorm and before the warm up, after the rain Thursday to smooth it out before the hard freeze and once more Saturday night/Sunday morning. The rain and warmth of last week thankfully didn’t do much damage. Overall conditions were good on Sunday afternoon. The tight corners in the woods were icy and a few fields are drifting pretty good. Otherwise, trails were pretty smooth especially considering how rough Sunday evenings can get after a weekend of traffic. The trails should be in excellent shape for the ride. No new snow in the forecast but with the very cold temps all week we wont lose any either.
